NPA Pitching lessonsUpdated Wednesday March 7, 2018 by Cyndi Tumminia.
THE NATIONAL PITCHING ASSOCIATION
GROUP PITCHING PRACTICE
ROHNERT PARK- FIELD B
PRACTICES START MARCH 11th
WHY: Pitching is a complex process and requires repetition of the right movements, in the right sequence and with the right timing to be repeatable and effective. Coaches at practice rarely have the time to provide adequate training.
WHAT: We will utilize the same drills taught at the professional level. The session will focus on performance, NOT CONDITIONING. The NPA has identified 9 critical movements to effective pitching and the drills will train the athlete to execute these correctly.
COST: $20/session X 8sessions= $160. Register at NPANORCAL.COM . Sessions run through May so make ups can be accommodated.
The NPA was founded by Dr. Tom House who has conducted scientific research for over 30 years . Dr. House is referred to internationally and at the professional level as “THE THROWING DOCTOR”, “THE FATHER OF PITCHING MECHANICS”, “THE GURU OF THROWING”. Some of his most famous students are Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson, Tom Brady, Drew Brees. His protocols and training programs are utilized by many professional pitchers and quarterbacks. Everything taught is provable, measurable, and IRB Certified.
